To fully cover Vegas' best bars and where to play golf before or after boozing in this party town could require a book instead of an article, and then I'd have to start rewriting it again next year as the hotspots emerge, change, evolve, and expire.  I've written/compiled lengthy lists of the best spots in Vegas before, from the best pool bars to the best martini bars to the best strip clubs and on and on.

To keep this manageable, I'll list what my research has turned up as the best of each category, and pair what passes for a decent value Vegas golf course with each.  Average Vegas greens fees were $140 as of a few years ago, so value is a relative term here.
