Fat Guy Notes:  Per my buddy Jeff R., this course opened in about 2008 and is a decent course for the money.  He paid $30 on an off-season rate and said it was a great value for that price.  A nice mix of styles, some holes are tree-lined, some are a little more open and linksy, definitely some target golf involved, maybe not quite the ideal amount of acreage for a golf course.  #2 is a 500-odd yard par-5 where you can only hit about a 210 club off the tee unless you want to take a huge risk to hit a perfect tee shot right up next to a pond.  From there it's a pretty good carry for the second shot, so they sort of forced a 3-shot approach there.  Overall, not bad and a pretty fun day.  Still no clubhouse open as of 2010 as they wait for the economy to turn around.

Where To Booze:  Nearby Middletown is the nearest semblance of civlization.  A MapQuest listing of Middletown bars includes North Star Grill & Lounge on E Main, or if you're headed back north, hit Delaware City Brew House & Grill

Where To Grub:  In Odessa, grub at Hearth Restaurant on Route 13 S.  In Middletown, hit Virginia BBQ or Tequila's Mexican both on E Main, or try Caruso's Italian Bistro on Dove Run Drive.
