The East Course was recommended by my buddy Mike S.: ""New, links-like layout, with a bar in a brand new clubhouse."

Golfcourse.com Review, West Course: This course, located adjacent to the Mercer County Park, was built on slightly rolling terrain that is easy to walk. Water hazards come into play on four holes, and numerous sand bunkers have been well positioned throughout the course's design. The signature hole is #17, a 405-yard, par 4, requiring an accurate tee shot or else you'll discover yourself in the standard cut of thick rough on the left or the water hazard that perimeters the entire right side of the fairway, then an approach shot over a finger of water to an elevated and contoured green. Since this course is located so near the County Park, it receives many wildlife visitors, mainly from the park's 10,000 strong, deer population. The greens are typically fast, and moguls in the fairways will cause many an uneven lie.

Golfcourse.com Player Reviews, West Course:  Avg.: 3.1/5.0  Lots of opinions and mixed reviews. In general everyone seems to love the layout and agree that conditions are good. Extremely slow weekend play was a theme (One guy just wrote: "6 HRS, HACKERS, NEVER AGAIN!") Lots of complaints about the staff, lack of drinking water, rude and even confrontational service (hey, it's Jersey). Local guys seem to love it with no complaints about the staff, but they get a local residents rate, so.... In general it sounded like a place that would piss me off unless I played it mid-morning on a weekday.
