Fat Guy Review, 2000: Par 66, not bad for a short track. Some challenging par 3's, a couple Mickey Mouse par 4's. In pretty decent shape. Good value at ~$20 to keep the game in tune, but not much of a test. Rating: 5.5
Where To Booze & Grub Nearby: Decent grill room on premises, nice spot for a beer.
Nearby Route 611 has a 4 mile stretch just north of the PA Turnpike that’s a Murderer’s Row of great post-golf spots. Working from North to South back towards the Turnpike entrance, start at Gentlemen's club Double Visions (1138 Easton Rd, Horsham, 610-672-0185). After you work up an appetite at Double Visions, hit NaBrasa Brazlian Steakhouse (www.nabrasa.com) for Caipirihnas and roasted chorizo meats bursting with flavor, carved right off the spit at your table (pricey, but all you can eat @ $38-$43 per person). If there’s any room in your gut afterwards (or if there the table wait at NaBrasa is too long), slip next door to the Iron Abbey Gastro Pub (www.ironabbey.com) for great microbrews and soccer on flat screens (and you can order from the NaBraza menu, as they’re done by the same owner). For upscale dining, Philadelphia Magazine says try the Fountainside Seafood & Grill (537 Easton Rd, Horsham). Exotic dishes abound: buffalo, elk, alligator, and ostrich all make appearances on an otherwise Italian and Asian-influenced grill menu. And don't overlook the seafood options like tilapia Nicole served with crabmeat, mushrooms, shallots, capers, and tomatoes in a lemon-dill white wine ($$$). For good pizza at a good bar, hit Tonelli’s Pizza Pub (www.tonellispizza.com). For huge handmade burgers, BBQ, house made potato chips, and Cotton Candy milkshakes (but no liquor license), hit Jake’s Wayback Burgers (www.waybackburgers.com). Once you’re through the digestion stage, head for hoppin' hotspot Brick House Tavern & Tap (www.brickhousetavernandtap.com) for a massive beer menu, exposed brick walls, plenty of plasmas, and a young crowd.
