Golfcourse.com Review: This wooded course was built on a mountain. There are 3 ponds and 2 creeks that come into play on 7 holes. The greens are fast, undulating and always well manicured. Hole #16, a par-5, requires two separate carries over water, including one from the tee box that sits 150 feet above the fairway.
From the course website: The Golf Club at Felicita is one of the most picturesque and enjoyable courses you will ever experience. The design emphasizes the natural setting of the mountain environment while also creating an aesthetic experience through careful landscaping. The course itself was originally set by William and David Gordon and has been spotlighted in many different publications over the years for it’s spectacular layout and challenging fairways. Excellent maintenance keeps the greens smooth, providing a true roll.
Best Bar Nearby, Harrisburg: As for downtown Harrisburg, I can't claim to be even remotely familiar with the bar scene, but driving by on the PA Turnpike I heard a radio ad that said the video crew from Girls Gone Wild was going to be at Harrisburg's Hardware Bar (240 N 2nd St). Live bands and Tuesday drink specials per a web check. I figure if it's cool enough for the GGW crew, it's cool enough for you. Ceoltas (www.ceoltasirishpub.com) is a music-oriented Irish pub. Check local rag Fly Magazine (www.flymagazine.net) for hotspots.
The only Gentlemen's clubs anywhere near this Amish country stronghold are the infamous Al's Diamond Cabaret (www.alsdiamondcabaret.com, 1810 N 5th St, Reading; 15 miles from PA Tpke Reading Exit. 222 N. Reading, look for junction 12, do not exit for 222 N Allentown, stay straight, expressway will merge directly into 12 E, 2 mi to 5th St exit, L onto 5th, 2nd light on R), and York's Cashmere Social Club (4645 E Prospect Rd, York, 717-757-6982, I-83 Exit 18 Rt 124 E, 6 mi on L; OR Rt. 30 to Mt Zion Rd exit, Rt 24 S for 2 mi, Rt 124 E, 4 mi on L). Also look for a downtown Harrisburg warehouse Gentlemen's club called Tassels, scheduled to be opened by a widow in her 60's (pending zoning approval) per a 4/06 local article which may have been an April Fools joke!?

Where To Grub, Harrisburg: US Airways magazine recommends Haydyn's on Pine as H-Burg's best restaurant. An elegant metropolitan menu features steak and seafood. Try the bone-in swordfish chop, medallions of tenderloin Chesapeake, or the $50 baked potato, complete with all the fixins and a jar of imported caviar. After dinner, head upstairs to Maxine's (Haydyn's 2nd floor martini lounge) for cocktails and late-night tunes.
Second Street is known as Harrisburg's "Restaurant Row". Max's looks like a very stylish Italian meal (17 N. 2nd St, www.maxsitalianrestaurant.com). Hit The Golden Sheaf (1 N 2nd @ The Hilton) for a Wine Spectator Award For Excellence winner, serving contemporary American cuisine. Jackie Brown's is a hip spot for Mediterranean (1313 N 2nd, entrée's $11-$28, www.jackiebluedeli.com). Café Fresco (215 N 2nd & 3352 Paxon- Scottsdale Plaza across from the Harrisburg Mall) is a modern room for dinner, with live jazz on Saturday nights. Zephyr Express (231 North St, www.zephyrexpress.com) is advertised as "the best little restaurant in Harrisburg". Or The Spot (100 N 2nd) is the ultimate in greasy spoons. Get the loaded "Spot Dog" or the "Rendell Burger". Broad Street Market is the oldest continuously running farmers market in the country, with a great selection of ethnic foods, and fresh meat, breads, and produce. And local Freeman's Texas BBQ is good enough to have a stand at nearby Hersheypark. Ralph's Roadmap for Wings recommends Eagle Hotel (1361 N. Moutain Rd) for great wings. Stick with the hot, the 3 levels of heat above that are torture.
