From the website:
The Tom's Run Golf Course is the newest of the two award winning golf courses at Chestnut Ridge. Tom Terrific was used to describe this Bill Love/Ault Clark design just weeks after its 1994 debut. Given its name from a creek that wanders through the front nine, Tom's Run takes a scenic route through the Laurel lined canyons, while the gentle rolling terrain of the back nine presents its own unique set of challenges.

With its multiple tees, bent grass greens and fairways, Tom's Run offers a truly memorable experience for golfers of all skill levels. Already Tom's Run has hosted such prestigious events as the Pittsburgh Open, the West Penn Open and the Tri State PGA Championship. In addition to its 4 1/2 star rating, Golf Digest's Places to Play Guide rated Tom's Run the sixth best public access course in the state. The National Golf Course Owners Association also named Tom's Run the Course of the Year in 2000. Come see for yourself why the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette called Tom's Run a "treasure of test and scenery." Why not make Tom's Run your country club for the day?

Rated 6th Best Public Course in Pennsylvania!

Chestnut Ridge Course
Designed by Harris/Garbin and built in 1964, Chestnut Ridge now stands as the older brother to Tom's Run. But don't let its senior status fool you, Chestnut Ridge is no push over. Golf Digest's Places to Play Guide has awarded Chestnut Ridge a 4 1/2 star rating as well as a good service and good value award. As if the great views of the Laurel Mountains wasn't enough, the bent grass greens, tees and fairways of Chestnut Ridge provide a truly memorable golf experience.

Challenge your skill or hope for luck on the signature 14th hole, a truly unique risk and reward golf hole that features a green supported above a lake by a rock faced wall. While a true test for low handicappers from the back tees, Chestnut Ridge is also very playable for all from the middle and forward tees. Called a hidden treasure by the Altoona Mirror, Chestnut Ridge is waiting for you.
